
Bradley Parkes, FCSI, MJEL, P.Geo
Mr. Parkes studied Economics (BA) and Petroleum Geology (BSc) at the University of Calgary and received a master’s degree in Natural Resource Law from the College of Law at the University of Tulsa. Mr. Parkes is a Professional Geologist registered with APEGA. He also a fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI).
Mr. Parkes spent the first decade of his career in the Corporate Finance department at a national Canadian brokerage firm. In this role, Mr. Parkes was licensed with IIROC (CIRO) to advise and trade equities, futures and options and assisted in raising over $100 million for early-stage resource companies.
Following his time in the investment industry, Mr. Parkes started Whytecliff Resource Corporation which provides geologic advisory services, offering its clients prospect evaluation, business development strategy, capital market strategy, prospect generation and Executive services. Sectors of focus include hydrocarbons, helium, hydrogen, lithium, potash and uranium.
He was also the co-founder and former CEO of a publicly listed oil and gas exploration company with properties in Alberta and British Columbia, the former Vice President of Exploration and Director of a lithium brine exploration company that produced a NI 43-101 compliant resource for it's project in Alberta, co-founder of a helium exploration company who had assets in Saskatchewan and a technical advisor to publicly traded hydrogen exploration company.
Currently Mr. Parkes is the Vice President of Exploration and of a TSX Venture listed uranium exploration company that exploring an in-situ recovery uranium prospect in Wyoming, USA, with a NI 43-101 compliant resource, Director of a TSX Venture listed early stage energy exploration and production company and co-founder of an early stage potash exploration company with assets in Western Canada.
